In this extensive interview for Revista Pessoal, he analyses the connection that there is between philosophy and good people management, and between philosophy and better results. “Philosophy seems very ethereal for those not familiarised with it, but offers some excellent teachings for organisations, especially in relation to logic and the use of language. We, at Capgemini, have abolished certain expressions. When we ask if a meeting with a potential client has been arranged, the answer “In progress” is not an acceptable one, because to be “in progress” is not a state. Either the meeting has been arranged or it has not.”
