“In the past, we had leaders who gave grand mottos and made grand statements. Today, enterprises and organisations require a different type of leader. My personal theory is that, above all, a true leader is one who practices what he or she preaches,” claims Mr. Reynés. “A leader must be the mirror in which others look at themselves,” he remarks. “And, as the world is more and more transparent, where communication media and technologies make it possible to know nearly anything about anyone, new leadership must be associated more and more with transparency and with setting the example.”
